The Child and Parent Resource Institute is a children’s mental health resource centre. They offer a variety of inpatient (residential) and outpatient services for children and youth with mental health issues and/or developmental disabilities and their families. Kids Help Phone


Kid’s Help Phone is Canada’s go-to mental health counselling resource for youth age 5 to 20. They are available via internet and phone 24/7 and they provide one-on-one professional, confidential and anonymous counselling in both English and French. The Kids Help Phone website provides information on a large variety of topics, including mental illnesses, suicide, puberty, and bullying, among others. is an award-winning, innovative internet resource for youth who are looking for relevant information on mental health and stress management. They also have a crisis safety plan mobile app that can be downloaded.
