They are available via internet and phone 24/7 and they provide one-on-one professional, confidential and anonymous counselling in both English and French. The Kids Help Phone website provides information on a large variety of topics, including mental illnesses, suicide, puberty, and bullying, among others.

Children’s Hospital at London Health Sciences Centre provides a variety of outpatient and crisis inpatient services to children and youth with mental health issues of an internalizing nature. A referral from a physician is needed in order to access outpatient services.

 

 

Child and Parent Resource Institute (CPRI)

The Child and Parent Resource Institute is a children’s mental health resource centre. They offer a variety of inpatient (residential) and outpatient services for children and youth with mental health issues and/or developmental disabilities and their families. A referral is needed in order to access outpatient and inpatient (residential) services.

 

 

Crisis & Intake Team

The Crisis and Intake Team is a collaboration between four agencies in London, Middlesex County and Oxford/Elgin Counties. Experienced child and youth counsellors provide crisis response and 24/7 telephone support with follow up in urgent situations, and intake screening and initial assessment for services offered through Craigwood Youth Services and Western Area Youth Services.
